At Mikolo, we have a special weakness but a very vital trait of loving beautiful and oftentimes unique things. Nothing in Uganda’s events industry, especially when it comes to weddings; be it traditional/customary or white and very often kukyala (first visit) that goes by unnoticed.
When songstress Rema Namakula hosted her fiancé Dr. Hamza Ssebunya at a classy kukyala ceremony, there were plenty of talking points about their elegant function, some of which were not in our line of scope but at least their stunning décor was one of them.
To us, her choice of the décor service provider in 1608 Niche Designs came as no surprise simply because they are more than just good at what they do. They may be pricey but they never disappoint.
For the kukyala, it was a combination of grey, black and shades of gold for the décor theme. The charger plates were gold, the cutlery – black and gold and while seats were golden with grey cushions. The floral was beautiful. As we eagerly wait for the couple’s introduction ceremony, come Thursday 14th November 2019, let’s treat out sights to these stunning decorations by 1608 Niche Designs.
