Love isn’t love until you give it away, and marriage is often the fruit of love. Lucy Ikomu and Tadeo Wabwire are now enjoying the fruit of their love, marriage. This is after the two lovebirds tied the knot in a white wedding filled with beauty and splendor.
What’s not to love about Kampala weddings, how sweet can they be? With all their pomp and glamour, there is often a lot to admire. The beautiful couple, Lucy and Tadeo’s conjoining put us in that I-really-want-to-double-tap every picture and we are convinced you will feel the same way.
On a bright Saturday morning of May 18th, 2019, Lucy and Tadeo, along with their entourage got ready for the big day at the Pearl of Africa Hotel in Nakasero. It’s from here that they had their first photoshoot before making a short trip to All Saints Church, Nakasero where they exchanged their vows in holy matrimony in front of jubilant family members, friends and well-wishers.
For the bride, it was a custom made off-shoulder white wedding dress by Beryl Qouture-BQ by Anita Beryl while the groom and his right-hand man clad in blue suits with bowties. Anita Beryl was also responsible for the stunning bridesmaids who were cloaked in off-shoulder long pink dresses whereas the groomsmen looked dapper in their suits and neckties.
Having said their I DOs, the elegant bride and groom with bridal entourage boarded their Jaguars and proceeded to a beautiful outdoor location for their second wedding photoshoot with Ken’s Shot Photography.
After that, Tadeo and Lucy went on to host their family, relatives and other invited guests to a beautifully decorated reception where they fed and entertained them.
