Dr. John Gottman once said that “the simple truth is that happy marriages are based on a deep friendship. By this, I mean a mutual respect for and enjoyment of each other’s company.”

He couldn’t have said it any better for Debby and Bash, now Mr. and Mrs. Mulongo, who tied the knot on 17th November 2018.

The couple told Mikolo that they are “childhood best friends and family friends.” Having known each other for almost forever, the two lovebirds decided to cement that long-standing relationship with an exchange of vows “at Makerere Full Gospel Church”.

After committing the rest of their lives to one another, Debby and Bash proceeded to the streets of Kololo where they had their wedding photo shoot with Play Motions before hosting their invited guests to a beautiful reception at “Nanjing Restaurant and Hotel”.

Asked on what advice they had for couples planning their wedding, here is what Mr & Mrs. Mulongo had to say.

“However big, small, expensive, cheap, complex, simple your wedding is, just have FUN and don’t let anything get in your way…..because there are 3 most important days in your life…These are; the day you are born, your wedding day and the day you die. The wedding day is the only one out of these three that you will celebrate with a sound mind.”

Congratulations Mr & Mrs. Mulongo!!! We wish you a blessed marriage.
