Getting Rid Of Stretch Marks The Fastest And Easiest Way!

As mikolo, we love WOMEN and everything to do with the female species. And due to recent occurrences ( if you know you know). Let?s talk about these ?zebra stripes.? Commonly known as “mugaba”.
Some are genetic, thus making some women more prone to them, while others are as a result of body changes due to weight gain/ loss or pregnancy. However, these ?zebra stripes? are not so pleasant to the outer eye and we also know how frustrating it can get. So we came up with simple remedies that won?t involve breaking the bank. Check out our list below.

1. Vitamin A
Vitamin A is referred to as a retinoid which makes your skin smoother and healthier! Taking Vitamin A orally or as a cream can help your skin over a sustained period of time. You can find Vitamin A at any chemist or in foods like carrots and sweet potatoes.

2. Sugar
Yes ,you read that right. Sugar! Rubbing a sugar scrub on the skin will exfoliate the area. You can do this by mixing one cup sugar with 1/4 cup of a softening agent, like almond oil or coconut oil, before mixing to the consistency of wet beach sand. Add some lemon juice. Scrub the mixture on the part of your body where the stretch marks are. Repeat several times a week while in the shower, making sure to rub the mixture on for 8-10 minutes.

3. Aloe vera
Pure aloe vera is known to be a softener for your skin and a healing agent. Just apply some pure aloe vera from a plant to your body after a shower. You can also find various pure-aloe vera formulas at any local pharmacy or herbal clinic.

4. Coconut oil
Since stretch marks are scarring from skin damage, coconut oil might help heal the appearance quickly. Coconut oil has healing properties and reduces the time it takes for skin wounds to heal. Applying it on your stretch marks will heal them gradually.

5. Bio Oil
Bio-Oil?s unique, clinically proven formula works with the skin?s natural elasticity to prevent the formation of new stretch marks during periods of rapid growth and can also reduce the appearance of existing ones. Bio-Oil helps to prevent the formation of stretch marks by keeping the skin well-hydrated and supple and works to maximize the skin?s elasticity and promote collagen production.

6. Potatoes!
Potatoes have a lot of natural minerals and vitamins that are good for us! Simply cut a (raw) potato into thick slices and just rub these on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes. Once the juice dries on your skin, let it stay for a few more minutes before rinsing off.

7. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice has acid that is trusted for reducing scars, acne, and even stretch marks. Simply juice some lemons and massage the liquid onto your skin, in a circular motion. Then, wash the area with warm water after massaging.

8.Egg whites
Egg whites have amino acids and proteins that repair skin cells efficiently. To prepare the mixture, place whites from two eggs in a bowl, then whip well. Apply a layer of this mixture on the skin either with a brush or by using your fingers. Allow the mixture to dry completely for at least 10 minutes. Then, rinse egg whites off your skin using lukewarm water. Follow on with olive oil to moisturize the area. You may use this technique daily for optimum results.

9. Water!
Hydrate! It can be that easy. Well-moisturized skin is important for nourishing and calming the skin. It can help reduce inflammation and bloating that exaggerates redness and is also great for renewing your skin cells.

10. Other treatments
Laser therapy, needling, and microdermabrasion are three clinical treatments for stretch marks. These treatments can be quite expensive.
We hope this helps, Enjoy the healing process.
